This year the school will receive £212,060 of Pupil Premium Grant Funding (PPG) because there are 148 children eligible for the funding. Although the funding is received based upon individual pupil’s entitlement, the school’s first focus is on Quality First Teaching, which benefits all children. The school aims to make sure that teaching is such a high quality that PP children catch up and keep up.
The school believes that it is good use of the funds because by making sure all children succeed, we ensure that PP children succeed. Investing in the school’s staff has meant better care and better education for our children. In every classroom , in every interaction between staff and children; in every interaction between staff members and in every interaction with parents there a joined up approach to being the BEST you can be.
